Artist Interview: Alex Agudo

Today's post is the first in our series of artist interviews of One Strange Bird staff members to celebrate our upcoming show, "We're All In This Together." If you haven't heard yet, the show will be featuring all of the teaching artists and staff at OSB and the opening reception is Saturday, August 3rd, from 6:00-9:00pm. Our first featured artist is Alex Agudo. Known for his stunning "rough couture" style jewelry under the name Monsieur Pamplemousse, Alex also teaches jewelry classes at One Strange Bird. Anyone who has taken his Riveted Rings or Metal Cuff Bracelet workshop knows his unmistakable passion for creating. His kindness and patience, as well as his humor, make him an amazing instructor. And though he says he hasn't found his hidden talent just yet, we think his other art form, Brazilian Dancing, is something to talk about.
