We're obsessed with any cocktail that says "summer is here." Garnished with raspberries and oranges, nothing says summer more than a refreshing glass (we say jar) of sangria. Serve this easy recipe up in ready-made batches at your Memorial Day BBQ next weekend!
1 bottle 750 ml dry red wine (Tempranillo, Malbec)
3 tbsp sugar
3/4 cup orange juice
1/3 cup rum
Muddle a few orange slices in the bottom of your pitcher. Mix red wine, orange juice, and rum together. Add sugar and taste. If you want sweeter sangria (we prefer less sweet), add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time and taste after each addition. Add ice, and garnish with oranges and raspberries. This recipe can be doubled (or tripled :) ) for larger groups in a punch bowl.
